    Pathetic.
    Meh

I presume this is the same Robert Walls who thought Richo was killing us in the game the week before??
Looking out for good omens which can bring the Swans the 2007 premiership

What I like about us at the moment is that we are flooding all over the ground.

Oh, he's just upset about how Scott single-handedly destroyed TLM.

What I like is that we are kicking goals, and not just that, whenever we have the ball it feels that we always have the potential to go forward and kick more.

Agreed - plus we have the ability to vary our approach within a game.

Walls has lost all credibility as an impartial commentator after Saturday's effort.

You can imagine the outcry in Melbourne if the Swans threw up that sort of display.

It was teh most unwatchable game of footy I've ever seen (apart from maybe *that* game against St Kilda) so its possible Walls was just trying to talk it up so people didn't switch off.

At least Sydney is finally getting credit for being an attacking team this year, averaging over 100 points a game.

Mike Sheahan even called us "dynamic".

                  .
I think this is the key point - I tend to find that on TV, those calling the game will be positive about the game until the end to try and keep people watching. I find radio calls totally different, where people will call a spade a spade ... and boring footy boring footy!

In the bits I watched Walls seemed to try to make it interesting by counting how many marks Richmond would take in a row.

Luffy explained that on Triple-M on Sat night - he didn't put his tips in so the paper gave him what they assumed were the away teams.

Obviously Mr. Demetriou doesn't want to say anything about the Swans style of play this year in case there was a repeat of last year. He probably wants the Premiership cup to go back to Victoria.

It will be interesting to see whether Richmond do attempt this style of play again. Personally i didn't have a real problem with the tactic itself. These are the things i picked up on:
                            1. Terry Wallace despite vowing to play exciting attacking football at the start of the year soon changes his mind when his neck is on the chopping block. Hypocrite.
                            2. This would not work against most other teams as their players and coaches would not have taken four quarters to realise that by manning up the problem would be solved. Adelaide played dumb football.
                            3. Terry Wallace is a genius. Give me a break, he went to an extreme seen prevously when he coached the W.B. against the Bulldogs. Adelaide are just dumb.

I didn't say he did make it interesting - evidenced by the fact that I changed channels soon after.
