    The Schmidt ready to go.

"I have never thought about leaving. We (the youngsters in the seconds) have just got to keep playing good footy for the match committee to pick us."

    Good attitude from the kid.

    I agree - a very encouraging attitude.

Based on Willoughby's recent interviews he is similar.

Even though it must be tough, it will be far more rewarding working hard and breaking into a top team than getting easy games and being flogged at Carlton, North etc.

Powell decided games at North were so easy, he couldn't be bothered playing them, and Saddo has been dropped this week. Has there ever been a more dispiriting insult delivered to a professional footballer: unable to make Carlton's best 22...

Careful what you say... Saddo still has pockets of support on RWO

When Saddo had his physical fitness, his skills were pretty poor and often very rusty. Remember he kicked 4 goals ones and got injured soon after.

He's one of the olds who also turned up @ Jackson's funeral, which I admire him for.

Poor bugger, must've hurt pretty hard watching in the stands with Schaubs et al the GF.

We have to keep playing the younger lads though.. it was either him or LRT back then.. ah well.. throw him to the 2's in Carlton and that'll teach him a few lessons.
