Laidley will be gone by the end of the year is my guess.
Thompson has a decent chance to hold his job if he can turn things around this year.
Daniher looked like he was in trouble, but now Melbourne is travelling quite nicely he looks safe again.Captain Logic is not steering this tugboat.

As much as Laidley repulses me, he's probably achieved about as good as you could have hoped with that list. Neither over- or under-achiever - I think he's just achieved.
He has the added bonus of being cheap as I understand it - probably about half what they would have had to pay to keep Pagan.Comment

I saw the Rama comments in part, but didn't know the context. At the time I gave him the benefit of the doubt, thinking he was trying to say Rama should concentrate on health, and not play again.
