After Schmitty collected 62 disposals in the ressies, it would be a shame to overlook him.

Depth .... it's good to see. Nick has made the step up and it will be good to see what Schmidt can offer. Let B2 rest and Dempster has already shown how good he is. Kangas should be beatable with out having to worry about having a 1st gamer

            Bad luck for Malceski!

very sad for such a promising youngster.
if b2 is fit we have an obvious replacement, but imho matthews is way below form and a great chance to give a debutant a run.
nobody else deserves to be dropped.

I didn't know my hammy strain during the week would rate a thread, but I should be right in a week or two. Thanks for your concern LK.

BTW Hope Malceski's hammy is heals soon, he was already looking dangerous when he injured it last night.

He looked pretty forlorn when he came back after half time, as you'd expect. They reckon 2-3 weeks according to Peter Larkin on the Sunday Footy show.

The same list had Doyle at 'test' - the doc doesn't understand the Sydney approach to these things.
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

back for the pies game, but he wont come straight back in if one of Schmidt /Dempster gets a chance and cements a spot in the next 3 weeks.

I think it is a bit rough that he has to come back through the reserves because he is younger, even though he has been in great form and has added a lot to the team. Mathews has been down on form but comes straight back in - it doesn't seem fair.

No it doesn't seem fair, but Mathews is part of the leadership group and has Roosey Galactic Credits coming out of his ears...

I wonder when running into goals they say "4 microns and closing".

Perhaps instead of credits they should call them ducats and bezants.
