Seriously, this tragedy will distract the Roos and quite probably see them question where they are at, at the highest levels.

I think this will be a 60+ victory to Sydney.

Put Archer on Baz. The Arch still has some fantastic ability but Baz would likely run him into the soil. If the Arch wasn't so brave, he would likely retire on Sunday night after the game.
As much as I'd like to say that it will be a 60+ - I wouldnt get too carried away - this will be a turning point for North, and they will go all out, play hard, hurt as many of our players as possible (Archer will have a red hot go) - its isn't a forgone conclusion that we will win this.

36 players in the F50 zone may make scoring a 60+ win, a tad difficult.

Ablett will just kick goals from outside F50

Will they run HARD enough from end to end? Will a flood win this game for the Roos?

The Hawks wanted to hurt us but that didn't work for them at all.

I think the Roos have to be respected but an early break to the Swannies might end up in a flogging. If Swannies come out tentative, then the Roos will be way IN the contest.

We've started the last 2 weeks' games in very un-Swanslike fashion - may the new anti-Swans continue.

The Junkyard Dog is one of the most intense, tightly wound men I have ever seen. He would be beating himself to death, wondering "what if??"

I don't pretend to know whether this will affect North this weekend. It is in cynical poor taste to think that this will help Sydney to a 10 goal win.

Check my footy column at http://www.bay4.blogspot.com/. It's full of cynicism and poor taste. I'm a deeply cynical atheist/anarchist but even I draw the line somewhere. Sydney oughta win because they're a much better football team, not because a deeply mentally disturbed North fan couldn't take the strain of living any longer.

                                3 weeks.

Tigers: first four goals of the game (maybe 5? don't remember)
Dogs: first five goals of the game
Hawks: first six goals of the game
