Nice work running the ball through the middle, but again that was an example of his strength and perseverance rather than speed and skill.

I disagree NMW, I thought when we were struggling he was one that was having a go.

One day though the umps are going to wake up to him. He gets caught with the footy standing up a heck of a lot and causes stoppages. If he was on the ground he would get pinged every time. When he knows he is going to get tackled he just stands there and tucks the footy in and keeps his feet.

He always has a go. However, I don't think he really gives us an awful lot, which is why I said he was okay.

Like a tank: takes a while to get going, but is pretty much unstoppable once he's got some momentum behind him. And has a fine kick.

More use to the team when he bullocks the ball out to another player, and then ideally gets it on the 1-2 himself once he's got a head of steam up. Gets caught a lot with the footy at stoppages when he tries to clear it himself. No site that I know keeps 'most times tackled' stats, but NOG would have to be in the top 10 in the league.

He was pretty unlucky with the deliberate OOB. kicked it 30 metres along the boundary. I've never seen anyone pulled up like that b4.

I've seen calls on kicks of 50m this season, but none on kicks on the un-natural foot where the ball clearly was off the side of the boot.

Yeah, that was a disgrace.

As for NOG, he was behind only Baz, Kirky and Goodesy for BOG. He ran like the wind through the centre. Played with fantastic confidence. I thought that was NOGGY's best game for the club so far.

I agree with you on Luke Simon, but your tank analogy needs to be udated, tanks these days can get up to 100 kmh in only 200-300 metres.

Have to agree 'Hood"...def his best so far. I think we just have to accept that as a "bullocker" he is going to get tackled a lot. Perhaps he could work on his approach to "appearing" to try & discpose of the ball.

I just can't see that. I think he did a few things, but was hardly a standout.
