      Qtr time

      Swans 5.3.33
      Roos 0.6.6

      Thought for the first quarter....

Overall a fairly scrappy game, neither team using the ball brilliantly, but we're using it far better than the Roos. Will need to control things better into the breeze in the 2nd quarter.

Best for us has been Fosdike - popping up everywhere in the midfield and using the ball well and C Bolton - mopping up acorss HB and getting a fair bit of it too.

      I'm on the Chandwagon!!!

If you cannot compete for the premiership, it's better to be young and exciting than middle-aged and dowdy.

I think we have got a bit used to play being in indoor and enclosed arenas so when a game is played in windy conditions such as today we forget to allow for the drop in skills.

          Just an ordinary quarter.

Fosdike and C Bolton playing well.

Roos with a quick centre clearance to start the 2nd. Wells shoots from just outside 50 but pulls it left.

            Roos 0.7.7

C Bolton pops up with a terrible skill error giving Davis no hope. J Rawlings snaps truly.

Harris hits Thompson from a free against Goodes, 40m out right in front. Thompson kicks straight.

                Swans 5.3.33
                Roos 2.7.19

Roos have started the 2nd quarter well - Swans not a clean possession, the Roos meanwhile have kicked two goals.

If it was the other way around, it would have been in the back awarded against Ted.

Rebound from a contest from the Roos ends up with Harvey rolling one through from 50.

                          Swans 5.3.33
                          Roos 3.8.26

Swans need to start getting players front and square at the packs with the ball dropping short on the breeze.

Where was the talk to Buchanan???? Opportunity wasted.

Chambers trips Harvey to give away a free, but maybe not so bad with him running into the open.

Harvey passes to Hale - very poor marking - and Hale kicks a goal

Told you North were having the better of this.
                                Very dangerous stage.
