Seeing as a lot ofsyd fans seem to despise the Sainters, this might be a popular showdown.
Also apparently there may be a fair amount of Sainters trekking it up from Melbs I hear..

      Looking good.
That's the problem with modern day medicine - there's no more natural selection of the species.
No wonder there's so many Collingwood fans.

        prediction

sat nite will torentially pouring with rain
there will be lucky to 15000 there most die hard watch the swans in the snow type of fan. the game will have no atmosphere due to the driving rain and shivering cold, the game will be low scoring ,a pretty dire affair and im tipping the saints in a close one.

Members reserve guest passes have sold out before I could get one, so looks like I'm sitting with my sister in the general admission area instead of the reserve on Saturday...

I can confirm that there will be 1 less than your totals. As I am in London and accidentally took my pass with me, much to my friends' disgust!

              My guess is 36,437 - 1

Not sure what effect a forecast of rain will do to the crowd - it was forecast to be very wet against the Bulldogs and there was still almost 32,000 there.

I cannot understand your logic for one moment about us living in fantasy land.

                        1) We are the reigning premiers and have a reason to be proud of our team and optimisitic of our chances moving forward.
                        2) We have won 6 in a row.
                        3) Playing at home against a side who has not traditionally played the SCG well and are suffering from injuries.

Yes, this does not guarantee victory for us but heck we have a right to be optimisitic.

I think you need to move from the dark, stormy skies and look at the sun.

Now that we know the weather will be really bad, my original estimation will take a bit of a nose dive.

Sydney people (except for the St George supporters last Friday night at Kogarah Jubilee Oval) dont like sitting in the rain as a general rule - so I think that whilst the tickets are sold out - or near enough - about 25000 will turn up. Hope I'm wrong and all the wimpy types gather up some gumption and make the effort to go.

                          its going to be sloppy!
I used to be indecisive, but now I'm not so sure..................

However, I do recall a cold, wet, blustery Sat night in 1996, Rd 22, Sydney V West Coast, when something like 32,000 people still turned up for the game.

I'll make sure I get seats well out of the rain in the MA Noble, which is a shame cause I'd like to be in the front row to hurl out some ridicule at Maguire.

                            I'm over winter already.

Any more moronic than someone who already seems to have forgotten that we won the premiership last year. You really are a case prenda.
