    AFL website snubs Swans

Last week I checked the AFL website and found that most of the match previews were on the AFL website Thursday morning.

Not the Swans match tho. The Swans' preview was not on the AFL website for at least two days after the other previews.

There was one other match without a timely preview as well, I think it was the St Kilda match but I don't remember for sure.

    It has happened again.

It's Thursday morning, the previews for all the other games are up but not the Swans' match.

    So what's going on here?

We are flying so far under the radar the AFL doesn't even know about us.

The match preview is there now and its very positive about the likelihood of a Sydney victory.

Maybe whoever writes the Swans match previews should be made to sit on the naughty spot for 5 minutes.

            Great comment!

            Also good summary on StKilda

And how different is the view of the Swans these days. Winning games in style certainly changes views!!

Seems someone forgot to proof-read/edit this before publishing on line.

I think the answer to this is found earlier in the article.

When one accesses the main page of the AFL site, the link doesn't take you to this article. Instead, all that's seen is a page without info.

                  The other links work correctly.

The AFL is not snubbing the Swans deliberately.

Sometimes they're simply late and you'll find that other teams are also behind on the preview.

The AFL website sucks anyway. When you click on the preview button next to a match, you won't always find a preview. But it's sometimes still there, if you check via the drop down list (or vice versa).

                    Strange.

Plus, their 'printer friendly' versions are anything but.

Continuing the rant, I'm sick of being told that I have to pay Telstra money to view AFL content. What's worse - even if you are a bigpond member you have to be a certain 'grade' to view the content.

Last year I could access all content, but not this year, and I haven't changed Bigpond plans.

                        Yup.

I can't even see the entries for mark and goal of the year from the Toyota website.

It directs me back to that bigpond banner.

                          Hmmm, strange one there!

I'm a Bigpond cable subscriber and never have any problems viewing any of the content on there, although the media player they now use sucks!

I've found that with the new Media player too. It won't let me watch more than one quarter. I have to log and then log back in before I can watch another quarter and even then it re-directs me for a while .

Not to mention skipping to a certain point in any quarter when watching it (shocker for watching the last 5 mins vs Geelong in the SF during lunch at work!)
