I hope I can say the same as I did earlier in a month's time!

They are not as good as they were last year - we can only beat crap teams. They are too big headed.

Despite tonight, I still think we are better than last year. We lost to StKilda by 7 goals in H&A last year.

The guys just need to remember the play with the intensity that gave them a flag.

That is the most ridiculous comment of the year.

I would take 7-4 before the break any day of the year. But NW is right, the next month will really determine where we are at this year.

the only problem is that St Kilda was also better team last year so we played crap tonight to loose to them. Think about that as well. If they don't get their form around in two weeks time we'll be towelled by the Magpies at TS.

Yes, that's right, although we did lose by 7 goals in the H&A game. Also, the wet weather makes comparisons difficult.

In some ways it was the loss we needed, it's just a pity it was against StKilda. Still, hopefully it wakes the guys up now for the second half of the season, particularly given some big games in the next month.

I was pencilling in wins against Freo and maybe Adelaide given the home ground adbdvantage... now I'm not so sure.

West Coast have built Subiaco into a fortress as did Brisbane during the early 2000s.

We hand over 4 points at the SCG far too easily. Its hard to keep pace with the top teams when you can't win at home.

Yes to point 2 but last time we played at Subi we only went down by 4 points. Then again, the Gabba wasn't a fortress for us - just every other team.

Right now, the title of this thread is looking prophetic . . .
