Barry is having a 'Barry' of a season so far!

He lost the game for us tonight. I just can't believe Roos left him there.

You seem to be trolling the threads tonight to see if you can reach new heights in stupidity.

Barry hall had 4 Saints on him all night. Down the other end was Leo and the humanoid - I hope they get on well as they certainly had time alone to talk.

The Sainst flooded our forward 50 - Roos (as he did againt the Dogs) left us man on man. So when there was a turnover (and there were a lot) there were few Swans to help in defence. Leo played on the Coleman medallist alone all night and Gherig kicked 3.

Last year he kicked 8 on Leo - and it was widely accepted that the fault was with the Swans' midfield, not Leo. I thought that he did better than we could ever have expected of him tonight. Coming off the ground, he and Kirk were both completely covered in mud (but none of the others).

Leo lost us the game? The "Blame Benny" thread has more credibility.

From watching on Tv, Leo gave away one goal from a handpass to the opposition and a couple from STUPID free kicks. Surely he can understand that you can't hold jumpers. Many other posters have also criticised his game, not just me. To give away 3 goals when we lost by 2 points surely has had some impact. As for trolling I often see the word used but don't actually know what it means. I thought people could express their opinions and voice their frustrations but obviously I am wrong. It only applies to some people - I will stay quiet in future!

Barry was nowhere near Gehrig for at least three marks. He gave a away a stupid free in the square. He gave a handball to Montagna for a goal. On at least two occasions he clearly infringed and no free kick was paid.

He was towelled up by Gehrig.

Maguire might have had help, but he also beat Hall one-on-one.

The thing that baffled me was the crowds reaction to the free. They were going feral at the free kick, but it was CLEARLY there.

Anne, trolling as I understand it is jumping into another supporting groups site and writing inflamatory things to rile the faithful.

Go Swannies clearly lacks the intelligence to understand that by making comments under different threads on this site is merely surfing your own supporter website and making comments that you feel appropriate.

Unfortunately on this media some people find it difficult to believe that others have a differing opinion to others.

I may well be as thick two short planks but I take some comfort from others more intelligent than myself:

                      From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
"In Internet terminology, a troll is someone who comes into an established community such as an online discussion forum, and posts inflammatory, rude or offensive messages designed intentionally to annoy and antagonize the existing members or disrupt the flow of discussion."

So you can troll your own site. Footyhead comes to mind. And you and Anne working as a negative tag team last night was certainly inflammatory. It was like the witches of Macbeth stirring the pot.

I find sweeping generalisations annoying - or didactic statements of opinion. "It is clearly too late for him to learn" is just as ridiculous as saying that the Swans are certainties for the flag. Leo stated a month ago that he has taken a while to come to terms with the new interpretations. I gather neither of you were at the game last night? The crowd went off about some frees because we had seen exactly the same thing happening the other way and not paid. Because of the conditions, holding was the order of the night. It was not "admirable" umpiring to pick some holding at random and award a free. And I'm not saying that some of Leo's blatant holding didn't deserve a free - it did. But others didn't if holding of Swans players was regarded as acceptable. Like Fraser, Baz deserved some gimmes too - and would have a lot more chance of getting them if he hadn't gone back to playing for them.

Who know, if Leo hadn't played the way he did, Gherig may have kicked 8 on him as he did this time last year.

If we go back a year, Roos stated that our backs losing the fight was the fault of the midfield. If you have that much delivery coming in clean, a fair bit of it is going to stick.

Why would Nico and I deliberately try to upset other supporters? I use this board to help me find out information and other people's opinions about the Swans - there would be no point in trying to upset other people, and to suggest that is ridiculous. More importantly it is helpful to express one's frustration after an upsetting loss and it helps to know that other people are also suffering. Now you have expained what trolling is I definitely feel that I wasn't doing this. Of course I wasn't at the game as I live in Melbourne. It was a toss up whether to go up for the Saints or Pies games - let's hope I picked the right one!

It's wrong to say Anne was trolling. She did not set out to deliberately antagonise anyone. She was simply stating her view. It's a sad state of affairs if people start thinking that an alternative view is trolling.

Maybe we were all a bit upset last night. I guess we had forgotten what it feels like to lose.

Trolling or not, who cares. But to say that it was Leo's fault because we lost the game is garbage.
