Problem is consistency. There were some earlier that could have been paid too. And the ones paid are usually not.

The umps didnt lose us the game. I dont think there was a contentious one that cost a goal either way. We lost it and there is no point bleeding about the umps.

I thought the one payed against Leo in the square was a bit dodgy, Gehrig looked like he played for it.

As soon as the umps see a guernsey being tugged, they will pay the free. They were both wrestling, but then Leo had a hold of Gehrig's guernsey and that's what it was paid.

            I'm on the Chandwagon!!!

Why do posters continue to defend Leo. He holds in almost every one on one contest. I dont think gets pinged as many times as he should.

Why can't Leo learn not to hold the jumper? Is he a slow learner or just too big for his boots.

Not defending him, but the number of times I see similar acts portrayed against BBB and not penalised makes me mad.

                  consistancy please.

                    You got the Quinella there.

It is clearly too late for him to learn.

Another problem is who is there coming through to succeed him as FB.

Doesnt matter how many times it happens to BBH. Bugger the consistency cry, Leo infringes, full stop.

Most people have hit the nail on the head... Sydney played appalling football by not adapting to the conditions.

We were consistently second to the ball and playing behind opponents.

When the conditions demanded long kicks we were playing dry weather football, fumbling and passing off to the pockets.

Kirky was our standout again and Goodes ran hard all night.

Richards was awful again and must make way for Vogels.

Chambers is useless. MOL is becoming a passenger for long periods in games, Amon and Leo Barry were among the worst offenders tonight. Dempster appeared lost all night.

I plead with Roos once again to blood some new players. The bottom line is our past 2 weeks have been ordinary and a wake up call would do some good. Plus on current form Collingwood will smash us. I shudder at the thought of Leo on Rocca.

Why bugger the consistency cries?? a infringment is a infringment regardless of who causes it.
That said Sydney need to put together 4 quarters of football, and not just play catch up football.

It's true, Leo gets away with plenty. His holding and high contact on Gehrig tonight was wince inducing. Easily could've given away a few more goals.

See. I told you we agree.

That "he's our best defender, so he always takes the opposition's best forward" bit has got to stop.
Horses for courses. Leo is too small for Gehrig.

Leo was lucky not to concede more free kicks ; he's not the answer at full back. I counted a minimum of three St.Kilda goals he was responsible for. Decision-making was appalling on the night even if the atrocious conditions didn't help. As I said last week, Richards is useless and always has been Dons laughing all the way to the bank about getting #19 for him, ditto Cats and Chambers.
