Before Leo started playing smart (2005), he spent months of going straight onto crutches at the end of each game, starting cortizone injections on Wednesday through Friday, then throwing himself at everything the next weekend. Week after week.
If Nicksy said that he thought the Swans physios would be his best long-term friends, and another ex-Swan sold his house, apparently because he couldn't get up and down the stairs at the age of 35, I think Leo will end up crippled by footy injuries. Some financial security will be helpful.
