Why, unless you had a financial bet on the game? I doubt the result would have any significant impact on footy tipping competitions because 99.9% of participants would have selected West Coast to win. Your absolute score in these competitions doesn't matter - only your score relative to everyone else does.

$500.00 per week and $5000.00 at the end of the season is a good enough reason for me.
