Tonight on WLF in the DHS segment.

Rix's shot for goal from the Brewongle pocket actually hit the post. I think most missed that one, at the ground and on the live broadcast.

We were robbed.

Well, appealing is pretty much out of the question. But then again, Freo chucked a sad about why they deserved the win given that the played crap footy after holding them for half the match. They got the points, surely there must be some goal post camera or Snick-O-Meter...

The goal umpires did not have a good night then as we saw the mistake at the Gabba as well, but at least that one was corrected.

Rix's goal was the first of the game wasn't it? It sucks that it was missed but we can't really say we were robbed, the Sainters would have played the end of the last quarter a little differently if they were behind. If it had been kicked in the final minutes then we could be up in arms, but it was just too early in the game to whinge too hard.

Totally agree, didn't see a lot of the game but from what i saw we didn't deserve to win it. However, with 5 people watching in our household all five thought it hit the post straight away as did triple m in melbourne. Thought it was pretty obvious

Don't forget my old Space-Time continuum argument. If Rix's shot is judged to hit the post we have a new game. Maybe we win, maybe we don't. Maybe BBBBH does a knee or even Toture gets a kick!

An interesting moment .. haven't had it confirmed, but my husband swears by it.

At about the 14 - 15th minute of the 4th quarter, Brett Voss was coming off with the trainer. He wasn't off the field, had about 30m to go. Player #22 ran onto the field before Voss crossed the boundary. Thus the Saints had too many players on the field. If our captain had reported it, it would have resulted in them losing all points.

There was no other change before the next bounce.

Voss came back on. Had he not come back on, it might have been OK, but he did.
