    Members Reserve - Telstra Stadium

Okay I need RWO help regarding the Pies match on Saturday night.

I've got a Members Reserve membership so I usually sit in the designated members reserve section at Telstra, etc. I'm taking my 6 year old nephew to his first ever Swannies game on the Saturday night (if I can get him a ticket). Now the problem is when you look to buy tickets on the ticketek website or via the ticketek phone number they usually give you an allocated seat number at Telstra Stadium.

Does anyone know how I can get around this without having to buy a ticket for myself for actual allocated seating?

The poor little fellow's really excited about going to his first match too, so I don't want to let him down.

I am sure that when you purchase a 'Swans Member's reserve" seat at Telstra it is a non-reserved seat.

So if you simply bought your nephew a ticket in that section won't he be able to sit with you?

Well that was my first thought but then I realised when you buy tickets in that section it's for the upper level now the actual bottom level where the members reserve is. That's why I'm not sure if I can get him one in that lower section.

Wow! I guess that is good signs for a large crowd. I reckon you could take your chances and just buy that ticket and surely they will let him in with you on the lower level seeing that is non-reserved.

I don't think they check the tkts going into the Swan's members reserve do they (as in the top of the aisle)?

The Ticketek website seems to indicate that there are no members reserve tickets available. Suggest you call in to your nearest Ticketek agency to see if you can pick one up.
Otherwise do as Matt suggests buy one of the other tickets and bring your nephew in to the members' reserve section. I haven't had anyone check my ticket in all the times I've been out to TS.
You'd probably be better off getting there early before the sections fills up.

The biggest problem you will have is that you will be entering through different gates. You would be entering through H, and he would be entering through Gate A or Gate F. Gates A & F are used for patrons on Level 6 only. I enter through gate E, and there is a row of metal barriers to prevent people from entering either gate areas.

I find it interesting that Tickektek has the Members Reserve listed, but you are unbale to buy tickets for it.
You may have to ring the club on Monday and ask.

We bought tickets in the family 'dry' area one game last year, which is at the left of the members reserve area, then sat with friends in another area with no problems at all.

Members reserve 'guest' ticket purchases are limited to Swans members only and can be purchased via phone only to ensure it stays that way!.

You need your member number to purchase them via phone and then show your member pass (if the person is diligent enough) when you pick them up.

Yeah when I tried to purchase them on the phone the other day they sent me through to normal ticketek that's why I was confused

I'll give them another shot tomorrow to see if I can sort it all out.

Yeah it is "normal Ticketek" they only can handle it via phone though. I bought some for a guy at work that way last week.

Actually the policy at the start of the year was to allow Memb. Reserve. GP's to be purchased over the counter at Ticketek outlets only.
It seems that the phone sellers have been a little slack in letting some phone sales through recently if some folks here have been getting on th e phone.

I would suggest that you visit an outlet if you want to be guaranteed of picking one up (you have to go there anyway if your going to pick them up from an outlet).

I rang up ticketek after 20 mins finally got through to the guy to tell me there were no more tickets available in members reserve. Grr. So I had to buy my nephew a premium ticket at the same Gate to allow him into the venue with me. Idiots I tell ya.
