(From ROK's FREE Optus email report)..

"Barry Hall was one of those who didn't have to train on Tuesday and he was involved in the stationary skills then hit the pool.

By Misso's calculations Hally has had more game time to this point of the season than any other on the list so it's best to freshen him up a little and get him right on game day."

        Sounds like he's fine

Those reports are pretty much worth what you pay for them...
Captain Logic is not steering this tugboat.

I used to wait with keen anticipation for the reports that Brett Kirk did the last two years. But Pebbles seems to be doing just enough - or maybe he doesn't have the intellectual handle on the game that the Captain does.

I think it's pretty obvious that this year's reports are being ghost written. Maybe last year's were partly ghost written too, but there is no doubt that if they were, Kirk then put his own stamp on them.

                  *cough* Ghost writer *cough*.
Attempted to make it 'authentic' with spelling errors... sigh.

I'd disagree. The reports this year read as if the writing is a big effort - no paid writer would do that. Last year's were so idiosycratic that they read read like a club 10 Pin Bowling newsletter. I think the platitudes and insights were pure Kirk. (And I know that Kirk certainly felt ownership of them - six months after I asked the club if I could receive them, Brett asked me if they'd been coming through okay.) On the other hand, Pebbles seems to regard them as a chore when he'd prefer to be out training.

Fevola has supposedly done a knee tonight - even Barry might struggle not to win the Coleman this year.

Apparently it was a hyperextension - he came back on after halftime and played out the game.

                            I'm on the Chandwagon!!!

If you cannot compete for the premiership, it's better to be young and exciting than middle-aged and dowdy.
