Or you think that premiership teams shouldn't look to change parts of their team?
How much did Brisbane change their team? Did they improve as a result?

I think a fair weather supporter is more someone who stops supporting the team when they aren't winning as opposed to critisising them when they lose.

They were crap the other night and the axe must fall.

Having said that, I'm still going to drag my sorry a*se to the boghole SCG this weekend and see if they can start acting like a premiership side.

You hit the nail on the head Dave - there are naturally times when you cant get to a game - doesnt mean you dont care - other things in life do take precendence. But if you do watch the game - be it at the ground or on the teve - if they are playing like a bunch of nancy's then why not give them a serve.

In fact, name one premiership team that hasn't slipped down the ladder?
Let me see...Oh yeah Brisbane won three in a row, seems to me they didn't slip down the ladder.

            Exactly.

I am annoyed at the team at the moment.

The rubbish they put on last saturday night was unacceptable.

I pay my money through the gate so i have every right to have a whinge but the difference between me and a fair weather supporter is that i will turn up next week.
Well done Craig Bolton for getting the co- captaincy in 2008.

Well said. I worked out that I spend over $1500 a year in following the Swans. I think I have earned the right to complain when the side puts in a poor effort. If that makes me a fair weather supporter then so be it.

"I support fair weather. In fact I was thinking of starting a petition to the BOM demanding only fair weather."

I'd support the above as I think it's rained a couple of times this year and we've lost both matches! Yeah I also prefer to watch the match in fairly good weather. Don't forget you can't take an umbrella to the games any more.

The people you see posting suggestions/criticisms here are passionate enough about the Swans to give a rats when their losing.

Your fair weather supporter just disappears quietly not to be heard of again until finals time.
Even the most die hard Swannies fanboi needs to be able to see faults in the line up.

You have the right to complain Big Al.

But that doesn't make you a fair weather supporter,it makes you a concerned supporter.

Fair weather supporters only come out when the team is winning.

From the sounds of it,with the money you spend, you sing when we are losing.Just like myself.

                        Cheers my friend.

This is my 20th season as a supporter(I was sucked in by the Swannettes) so I certainly can't be categorised as a fair weather supporter

And yes I sing win or lose its just out of tune when we're losing.
