    2006 Heritage guernsey

Surely we have some other design apart from the red V to keep trotting out year after year?

This year's design can be viewed here

    I'm on the Chandwagon!!!

If you cannot compete for the premiership, it's better to be young and exciting than middle-aged and dowdy.

      It's hot though.

Was that the guernsey design in the 80's?
Because wasn't that the supposed theme this year?

        I'm all for it.

And I repeat once again that I'd like us to wear it for a few games in Melbourne every year as well.

Yes, it was. We wore the Red Vee up until 1986
          Once was, now elsewhere

I was browsing through Paul Kelly's book and I always get the giggles at the "poop catchers"/knickerbocker pants they wore (can't remember the year).

Rather than change the top - lets change the bottom

I prefer this jumper to our regular one.

why the hell is the v so short?

it should go at least a third of the way down, if not half way down the jumper.

hard to have its effect with all the logos on top of it.

I agree that the logos destroyed the red V on the jumper. The V was that shallow when you look at the early 80s jumpers, they seemed to get a deeper V as the 80s went on until it evolved to the habour V with the red back we currently use.

Tossing up whether to buy one or not, it looks real good in the window of my local AFL store, run by MASSIVE swannie supporters

I would like to buy one but the AFL 'heritage round' logo ruins it.
