what the hell was Roos thinking......

    .....playing MO'L?

He just isn't up to his form of 3 or 4 years ago, and should have been dropped.
OK, he did ok tonight, but still, compared to the MOL of old, his game was only a fair bit better than 'blah'

(insert tongue and big teeth smilies here for JF)

haha, glad Roos doesn't take advice from RWO.

Roos still refuses to alter the game plan.
As Malcolm Blight said, there comes a time when you need to adapt.
We refuse to allow the game style to be dictated to us and remain steadfast regardless of the potential result.
I am going to have to give the allowance to him as coach that he knows what he is doing and his plan will come off as it did last year (even after criticism from Andy and the press)

He (probably) has a better idea of how to coach the team than I do, so I'll cut him some slack (insert more smilies for JF here)

all in all, a crappy game to watch for 3 quarters.

    My thoughts on some players.........

Hall is possibly lacking a bit of form.
He can usually get away from his opponent(s) more easily.

    Davis is still Davis.

Schneider and Bucky are obviously our shining lights (at times) at the moment

    Willo is strugging a bit.

LRT is proving to be quite the valued player, and will be looking for more money if his form keeps up.

Ablett still plays a valuable role and I thought he did well tonight.

Vogels should play again next week.

Doyle should be given more time in different positions when he is rested (ie full forward, full back)

Kirk is remaining quiet, but is probably been given a role by Roos and doing a job unseen to us some of the time, but still, he is quiet by his usual standard, as is Kennelly

Goodes is one of our most needed players week in week out.

Leo shows that he still 'has it' with his backing himself, but seems more restrained than in previous seasons. I wish he'd go for more runs. Tonight he stuffed up less in the frees against stats.

Chambers had better pull his finger out with the reserves if he has any hope, now that he seems to have tried Roos' patience in the seniors. If he doesn't work his way bck into the side by seasons end, he'll be gone.

Crouch was very quiet tonight (more smilies for JF)

Fosdike is proving his worth more consistantly

ROK, is also down on form a bit.

I think you mean Jolly - and I agree. Plonk him in the goalsquare when he's resting. Should be good for a pack mark or 2.

I think I saw him in the goalsquare once or twice - at fullback. Do you mean full forward?
