I think we'll struggle to beat the Crows anywhere, but I also think our chances of beating them at AAMI would be almost as good as at the SCG - ie small but not zero.

As the games stand, form indicates we'll lose both. Swap them around and we'd stand some chance of winning one and certainly no less chance of winning both than we do as they stand.
Maybe, but if you thought about our best chance of beating them both, then Crows at SCG and Weagles at Subi is it.

I think both games are winable. Need our 4th quarter Freo form, but at least thats our most recent form going in.

We can actually win both of those. They just have to play at their best rather than the absolute crap they have dished up in the past month.

i hope we can win both games but maybe one is more realistic - but this team can do anything when they want too so hopefully we begin a golden run this week

Unless the Swans remember how to play football for four quarters, we don't have a chance against Adelaide. The first five minutes of Q4 on Saturday night was great, if we can play like that for all four quarters on Sunday it will be a cracker

I'm really looking forward to this week. On form, its Adelaide all the way. But we seem to perform closer to our potential when playing as the underdog.

I was at the E-girls - Dogs match yesterday. The Doggies were great and I think that West Coast is starting to faulter. The crowd was unusually silent, which was a pleasant change.

West Coast get nervous when they start losing at home(Not often) so now is the time for Sydney to strike. I believe Sydney can do WC at subi after watching them(WC) yesterday.

Adelaide will be the crunch game. If Sydney can shut the Crows down and continue with the form were we left off(last quarter Freo game), scrape in a win then when we travel to Subi the WC will be shaking in their boots. Believe it or not, the WC supporters are very wary of the Swannies, so keep the crowd quiet and we`ll win.

Last year at the same time we set up our season and entrenched our top four position: we beat Geelong at home, Dees away, WC at home and if it wasn't for inaccurate kicking (1.6 in the last quarter to lose by 7 pts IIRC), all of whom were at or about the top contenders.

We need to win at least one of these, given the fact we dropped games we really shouldn't have to Saints and Pies.

Two would be nice. I'd say we're more of a show vs Eagles though. Crows are awesome atm.

The Crows are our biggest worry - forget about the Eagles. We can beat them, subi or not. Don't forget that Cox is gone, which is a big hit to the team.

We beat the Eagles twice last year. However, we somehow managed to win the premiership without once beating the Crows.

The true test is on this Sunday.
Captain, I am detecting large quantities of win in this sector

So they should be, given that we've knocked them out in the finals in successive years. WC had a mid season slump last year and appear to be having one again this year too. We can only hope that Adelaide will croak again in the finals.

Members Reserve guest passes (for the SCG members area) are sold out already for the game this Sunday.

The worry is a poor performance against the Crows, which will then be taken into the WCE game. Get thumped this weekend and we could be on the end of two very bad losses.

On current form, you'd have to pick the Crows by a mile if you were a neutral footy follower.

Im not in the most positive of moods atm.

Well, I 'll be there again, which is one thing I guess.

Adelaide are our bogey team & play the SCG very very well.

This one will be a tough one, that's for sure!

                          Hand over the cup now!!!!!!

I hate playing the crows. They seem to be able to shut us down when we play them. Not confident this week. My big concern is the forward line in that for weeks now at the SCG games it seems clogged and we seem to have no idea how to get it open.

That sounds like West Coast about this time last year.

Andrew Jarman is still a wanker.

Let Nick Davis and Luke Ablett take set shots from outside 50, just kick the goals over the head of the Adelaide flood.

Typical Crows arrogance when they are doing well. Let them think that all they have to do is turn up to win - that attitude will be their downfall.

I agree that they have been our bogey team ever since that semi final at the SCG in 1998.

We have a very rich history of beating teams at the SCG who are in red hot form. Think Carlton in 1995, St Kilda in 2004.

I get the distinct feeling that the Crows are ripe for the picking this week, coming off a weeks break and some very easy games mentally.

I maybe going out on a limb here but I am very confident you will see a Sydney side this week that turns in one of those rare 4 quarter games where they don't give the Crows any space or time to play well.
