    Eagles v Dogs (Spoilers)

Regardless of the impact it has on the Swans, brilliant victory by the Dogs today. A thoroughly deserved victory.

Big news to come out of the game is that Cox has a suspected broken collarbone.

    I'm on the Chandwagon!!!

If you cannot compete for the premiership, it's better to be young and exciting than middle-aged and dowdy.

yeah awesome win to the dogs

and more injuries for the dogs with young fella higgins breaking his arm i think?

i think this might make our trip to subi in a few weeks a bit tougher as the weagles wont want to lose a few in a row at home

Makes our performance this year look pweak. Look how well the Doggies are doing with all their injuries, while we start and stop despite having a full list nearly every week.

That's one way of looking at it. And another according to you is to compare Sydney to the victors, so because we beat the Dogs, we must be better than West Coast .

But seriously, WC are also in a slump, even with Judd playing, and maybe we can beat them in Perth.

Can't help thinking if we had the same run with injuries we would be shaking hands with Essendon and Carton.

          Well done doggies.

You are so full of crap. You simply take things out of context and look for fights.

Well the Doggies are just outside the top 4 but so many injuries does have its problems, especially long term. If they have many more players injured throughout the rest of the season, they'll be no chance for the flag...

Why, we're only one game and 1.04% out of 3rd at the moment.

Might have created more competition for a top 4 spot, but at the same time, if also means we're a better chance of snaffling a top 2 spot - I'd say Adelaide have one as good as sewn up already.

Bugger, I should have added that to my previous post.

Playing both Ade and WC in the next 2 weeks should leave us with a good idea which 4 the swans will finish in.

I thought before the saints game, We have 4 very tough games out of the next 5. We need to win 3 out of 5, to come out the other side in reasonable shape. We are currently 1 from 3, so we need to win both games in the next two weeks.

I'm beginning to think that the Swans' short injury list is not due to luck or good player management, but a culture of playing injured as part of the "bloods" spirit of self-sacrifice. It's all well and good when you can get away with it but the players have been getting caught out this year. The published list obviously isn't telling anywhere near the full story.
