    Crouch out for a month

    Link
HAVING just brought to an end a remarkable sequence of 194 consecutive games, it appears that Swans defender Jared Crouch will be out of the game for up to a month.
"Crouchy is pretty protective and he doesn't like his injuries discussed," Roos said. "But he won't play next week and I don't think he'll play the week after.
"You probably wouldn't see him back in the seniors for at least three or four weeks."

Its the selectors who take that responsibility.

I'd rather have a 100% fit Crouch in a month's time than a half fit Crouch now.

The other players knew so I tend to think the coaching staff did too.

A reliable source* tells me that Kirky is looking pretty sore today too. Was only kicking with his right foot and was limping quite badly.

Well we all knew, so they probably did too.

All we knew for certain was that Crouch wasn't up to scratch. We didn't know if he was rusty, injured and working through it or injured badly and lying. If I knew him and asked how he was doing and he said he was good to go, I would take his word on it.

I don't know about lying but just watched the sports report on Channel 10 and he's not telling anybody but his doctor what's wrong....and isn't appearing on the injured list because he doesn't want to?!?!?

He maintains that his injury his private between himself and his doctor but it's stopped him playing at his optimum. The suggestion is according to Sportstonight that he's sidelined indefinitely.
