My questions / poll has many answers; however I will do my best explain first.
All the players (Intentionally no names mentioned) that we have been criticising recently are what I would call fair weather players. (IMO) They all require ball control at their fingertips, fleetness of foot where the ball can be carried by hand and moved quickly. With the wind, rain soft ground our skills are found wanting.
We have been lucky over the past few years to have dry conditions.
I feel that the players have not adjusted to the conditions well and this is a significant factor to the way our games have gone recently. (Victorian teams are more familiar and adapt more quickly)
So are the Swans a fair weather team?
