    Leaping Leo

During the week on SEN radio David Schwartz said IHO that Leo was a very over rated player i disagree,he plays out of his weight division every week and at least he will go down in history as the bloke that took the match saving mark.Leo you staaarr What do you guys think?
Now this is a thread that i would expect on the ego -centric, wank session that is redandwhiteonline.com...

I think David Schwartz was an over-rated player and is an over-exposed media commentator.

I think Leo struggled at the start of this year with the new scrutiny given to the methods of backmen, but has adjusted well since half way through the year.

I think Ben Mathews is an over-rated unmitigated hack who happens to be a member of the leadership group (i.e. The Bloods Freemasons) by virtue of having hung around the club for longer than the non-members of this select group.
He had observed that people who did lie were, on the whole, more resourceful and ambitious and successful than people who did not lie.

The most over-rated person in AFL is ........ Scott McLaren!

IMO Leo is a genuine HBF masquerading (occasionally effectively) as a FB...because we now play "new footy" it is often hard to tell who is playing where anyway...we love Leo because he is fearless...but he is also also foolish more often than is required. Again IMO the wonder of the things that come off masks the awful stuff when you are winning games / premierships...but is less well remembered in years when the team is struggling (i.e. 2006).

good point . i think leo looks like an average player at times because he plays well out of his weight division- why LRT or b2 dont go back and play on the big blokes i'll never know- if he always played on someone his size i reckon he would get the kudos he deserves. and besides, you dont make all-australian twice for nothing.
(p.s. i thought leo was great tonight)

Schwartz has an IQ of a pot plant. I do not rate anything that comes out of his mouth.

Yeah - Schwartz would rather see a poor bloke faint and hit his head on a balcony fence rather than try to hold him up and get his ugly mug off camera for two seconds...seems like a good bloke. Used to see him down at my local TAB every Saturday loving the attention he was paid by a bunch of low lifes who hung on his every word...his opinion doesn't and probably won't ever really carry much weight with me

Leo was able to play well last night as LRT did take the gorilla,Richardson.

The look on LRT's face when those marks landed in his arms was priceless...."so that's what SOS was talking about"..it was as if the lights had turned on.

How do blokes like Scharwz get a gig on Foxtel...who you know? Certainly not on ability or football smarts.

He gets an even bigger gig on SEN. I think he talks fairly rationally most of the time. Usually pulls no punches and is prepared to say what he thinks. Different from a lot of journos who worry that they might be locked out by the featherweight footy media fratenity.
