I recall a conversation one morning in a hotel room in Melbourne, prior to going to sit in the MCC Reserve and after a night of very heavy drinking; it went along the lines of
Stella's/Stella's brother's friend: "You can't wear that, you need to have a collar on your shirt."
Stella: "I didn't bring any shirts with a collar."
Stella's brother: "You can borrow one of my polo shirts."
Stella: "I'm not going to wear a @@@@ing polo shirt."
Stella's brother: "What about this then?" (Holds up a chambray shirt)
Stella: "Look, just @@@@ off."
Does the MCC know the arguments it causes?
