                                    I know of a lower grade league (rugby) player back in the 70's who was knocked out one week, played the following week and got knocked out again ... he suffered brain damage from the back to back knockouts and never played again ... personally, I'd take the week off ... but that isn't the "Bloods" culture is it ... must put the team before self ... madness IMO

                                                    And the irony is that they've now found out that helmets don't protect against concussions...

                                                    Wade Chapman was another in that mold - iirc wasn't that why he had to stop playing - he was risking brain damage or something?
