Tadhg puts Ireland at the back of his mind

Tadhg Kennelly has put the decision about his future to the back of his mind to focus on helping the Swans reach the finals.

It was probably the hardest thing I every did was coming out here after dad passing away, leaving mum at the airport and if she said there and then 'look I don't want you to go' I probably would have rang the club up and said 'look I have packed it in, I have had enough'.

Tadhg's future with the Swans depends on his mum, which is fair enough.
I sincerely hope he decides to stay with us, for all the obvious reasons.
Would there be any possibility of he or the club organising for Mrs Kennelly to move to Australia for the next eight to 10 years???

Was interviewed on 927 before seven this morning and mainly talked about the team's form and the Davis issue. On the latter said that Nick's attitude has improved since the drama unfolded but he needs to improve his form, fitness and win back the players' respect before he can be recalled. Said he needs enough fitness to be able to play midfield. He's confident about the team's chances overall and firmly endorsed the 'team ethos' we hear so often referred to.
