    Michael Gardiner to Sydney?

    Why not?

We could do with more depth in the ruck so instead of paying $700,000 for two years of Spida why not give Gardiner a run .

He needs a change of scenery to fly straight and we have the leadership group to make sure he does.

    Opinions please.................

He doesn't talk to the media, he would be fine here.

Even if there was a 180 degree change in his attitude there are still questions about his Rucking at the moment as he wasn't used too much as a ruckman but more as a forward - too injury prone! Welcome Doyle.

I would rather Gardiner over Everitt anyday of the week, I believe ( once again im stating this) Gardiner would be well worth it. Considering Everitt is 32 & Gardiner is 27 I think we would get more out of Gardiner in the long run.

I posted on the 'Spida to Sydney' thread before reading this one and agree that in a choice between Spida and Gardiner, bearing in mind what we would have to pay and how long we would have them, I'd go for Gardiner.

That said I'm not convinced that either are the best option.
