Just because Spider's contract expires at the end of this year doesn't mean Hawthorn can't trade him.

Spida to become a Sydney Funnel Web!
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

The PSD is a lot more rigged than one would think. Spida can simply price himself out of the market for the other clubs, and I don't think he has the value to other clubs that he does to Sydney.

Just a fishing expedition. Jude Bolton won't be going anywhere. Nor should he.

But it's certainly not the first time *ahem* "sources" have optimistically dropped Jude's name. And if my memory serves it's the second time in less than a year that reports linked to the Hawks have mentioned him with fingers crossed.

My dad told me last night that he heard on the tele last night before the game, that apparantly Spida told the club to take him out of the leadership group, they asked why,and he said 'Coz i won't be here next year so whats the point'

Spida's body looks like it's almost packed in. He's positively glacial in his movements. Would not be a sound investment unless he came for nothing.

Fraser certainly smashed him around the park last night tho he held his own in the taps I reckon. Indeed his tap work, in terms of effectiveness, remains one of the best in the league.

Frankly, while his mobility is an issue, I don't think that's what the Swans are paying for - & even with an ingrown toenail on every toe I reckon he'd be more mobile than Torture!

But Spider can certainly kick the ball when he gets it.

Torture has had some impressive kicks in the ressies, a 60m bomb to the goal square last week (sadly no one marked it).

What were his options, he has obviously played too much senior footy this year to look for Davis.

Now this is a thread that i would expect on the ego -centric, wank session that is redandwhiteonline.com...

$700000 over two years plus extras.

I read the papers today in the Telegraph. Even Jason Ball thinks it great, he says Everitt should move to Sydney. =]
