Is accuracy in front of goal taken into consideration when assessing form?
Originally posted by eirinn Thomas clearly doesn't understand the principles of the modern game. He's a pleb like the rest of us. No wonder we won the preliminary final.
Thomas is a pleb. The only coaching prowess he has displayed over the last few years is how to ensure his team loses a game. He's very lucky he's at the helm of so much talent. I feel sorry for the StKilda players and fans.
I mean really, was he just trying to make Gehrig feel stupid when he asked him to mark Hall when the game was still there to be one?

This brings me back to one of my soap boxes...StKilda won't win a flag whilst Thomas is coach.

... & that miss from Hall running in was a disgrace, if we wanna be a big threat come september then we need to be able to kick straight & make it count on the scoreboard.
I have yet to rewind the DVD (heh heh) to Hall's goal, but I seem to recall he could've run a few more metres and made sure of it. What goes through the mind when a player is streaming in with an advantage on side like that? Hall consistently does that little stab-give-off kick of his (nailing it more times than I can remember) when he wants to improve the angle for someone else to go for goal. Often weaving the sherrin between several opposition players!
He should imagine that he's passing to hit Kenny Wiliams on the chest as he hangs over the fence (now thats a scary thought).
Good men do good deeds. Evil men do evil deeds. But it takes religion for a good man to do evil deeds.
