I don't understand why people pay for reserved seats at the MCG during the home and away season. I've never had a problem getting a seat.

Never ever book holidays in september, unless its to melb around the last saturday in september
I have another holiday at September this year. I leave on the sixteenth to go to Brisbane, then heading down to the Gold Coast, a few hours south to Lennox Head and probably spending a day in Sydney - Over two weeks.

Does anyone know what date the grand final is?

If I miss it two years in a row ..

I like being a level higher than ground level so I like to have that confirmed and particularly because I got Row A in the Ponsford Stand (Level 2) which are some of the best views in the land.

            Personal choice I guess.

We plan on sitting in the Ponsford, Cruiser showed me some great seats that aren't reserved around about where you will be sitting. Last game I sat in level 3 front row, it was great. Mind you just about any seat in the MCG has a good view. I particularly like Section Q13, Row DD, Seat 20. Particularly when it is the last Saturday in September.

Don't know if I'll make it to there, but we really need caps/shirts or something like that so that we can identify each other in the crowd.

I'm easily recognisable. Just look for the really, really ridiculously good looking seventeen year old. Modest too.

Would it look look geeky if we wore white stick on labels so that the uninitiated can pick out who we are? I had the highly traumatic experience of having somebody come up to me at a Melbourne after-match and asking if I was RobbieAndo.

I do NOT want that to EVER EVER happen again!
