Collingwood players involved in assault?

Malthouse says they've broken the team rules, but then says...Of course I'm irate that a couple of our senior players have flagrantly broken the club rules and wound up in trouble. We don't have a specific curfew at Collingwood, but everyone knows there are limits to what can and can't be done during the footy season.
Tarrant and Johnson were out of line being out so late last weekend and they've copped the maximum $5000 fine.
The hypocrisy of Collingwood is what ticks me off. If it was a player from any other team that was in trouble with the law Malthouse would be the first one to condemn them. HYPOCRITICAL WANKER!Does God believe in Atheists?Comment

What would've happened to these 2 if they played for the swans??
As someone said earlier, footballers like Tarrant are a target, because every wanker knows they can say what they like to such a player, and if the player responds in any way, they will be in trouble. I think it was about time someone threw some punches and made these jerks think twice about having a go at footballers who are, essentially, defenceless. Or at least they were seen that way until this weekend.
And as for being up late, was it not reported a few weeks ago that a certain Swans player was up til the wee smalls the night before a game? Where's the hypocrisy now?Last edited by Guest; 4 August 2006, 10:57 AM.Comment

I strongly disagree with dropping players for these sorts of 'rules infractions'. It just penalises the supporters as the club does not field its best team.Captain Logic is not steering this tugboat.

I wonder also if the people who are saying "We don't want Spida, Gardy or Aker because they have bad attitudes" would knock back Tarrant or Johnson.Comment

I think we should collect them all. I want the Swans to be the "bad boys" of the AFL and then appoint Crouch as coach.
Gardy and Spida, chairing Aker off the ground with Davis laughing in the background. They were all in Norf Jumpers. Maybe the owner of the phot will have to add these two in that now.Comment

The good thing about the swans is that they keep things in house, you will find there have been swans players who have played up(trust me, true) but they get away with it in sydney because nobody knows who they are.Captain Logic is not steering this tugboat.
