I can't cut through the horror of the colouring - is there a point?

    Highest Scores for Each League
V/AFL 37.17 (239) by Geelong vs. Brisbane Bears in 1992
is all I see of relevance.

To avoid travelling to either Perth or Adelaide would we be hoping for *gulp* Collingwood and Melbourne to be in top four and results to work very specifically to play a loser, then a winner at MCG?
I hear not what you say, for the thunder of who you are.

The amount of time in a game of football does not (generally) vary with the league in which the game is played. Answered your own question yet?

The rules are different in different competitions. Here's something more relevant:

          Hightest scores.

          Greatest margins.

Nobody has cracked 200 points or defeated a team by more than 150 points since 2000. With all the effort the AFL has put into keeping the competition even, with all the focus on flooding, it's just not conceivable that there will be two 300 point beltings this week.

They now sit third. Isn't it just amazing what can happen in three weeks of footy.

            Jeez I love my footy!!!!

Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.
