So I assume given the team and some injured players who would be automatically included, Davis is not in the best 28 or so players.
    LIFE GOES ON

He's barely in our best 30. Roos knows best...

Depends. Grundy had a real impact in his first game, very little impact last week. If he manages to contribute this week - as he is probably capable of - he may stay for longer. Phillips always looked as if he was a little out of his depth, and three weeks is probably a long enough stretch to give him some real experience and an idea of where he needs to get to.

I don't think that Roos has either a huge ego, nor would he hold a

grudge, nor would he cut his nose to spite his face.

But at the end of the day -- Davis is a better option than Richards

I don't really like Davis - he is not one of my favourite players

Some people refer to him as "the Ramsgate dud"

But he can win games on his own, do the unbelievable

we need him in our side to go deep into the finals series

Richards in the team has no bearing on whether Davis returns now or in the next couple of weeks.

He is clearly being payed as a pinch hitting ruckman before the coaching commitee makes a decision to either bring back Chambers or take a punt on Doyle.

Crouch will come back into the side to replace Bevan.

Davis wil be back for either Grundy or most likely Schmidt as Roos clearly wants to play him more in the midfield should his fitness and work ethic permit him.

Davis would be handy against Melbourne and he will need match fitness coming up for a long, hard finals campaign
But every time I feel like second guessing Mr Roos I remember that he's a premiership coach and I'm not

Through "player empowerment" though, so feel free to second guess his tactical decisions
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

Monty's infection may give Phillips a reprieve, the other 2 emergencies are Doyle and Vogels and Saturday nights not looking like an evening for marking players.

Kirk needs to step up again if we're missing Amon.

Also a chance for Fozzie and Schmidt to spend more time on the ball.
