The first quarter was the most exciting. The pressure and hard running and tackling was the most intense I'v seen outside a final. And yes the skill level was extremely poor, not all the skill errors were as a result of direct pressure. the amount of poor kicks/handballs was extraordinary for two teams that have some very skillful players. Some of the poor disposal was kid-like. Once the intensity went out of the game, it became a normal game of footy.
Goose was operated on this morning. A clean break to both bones. Will be out for quite a while. He's still soft!!
