    Official change

In Buchanan and out Phillips. Roos said Davis and Crouch need another week in the reserves and it will tick off their fitness. It will then come down to their form. Bevan amazingly retains his place.

I still think we can win this week.

Can't help wondering if Roos is playing mind games with the possible/probable inclusion of Davis against the Cats.

            Phillips and Schmidt out.

Dees have made 5 changes with Sylvia, Robbo and Whelan out injured. Travis still on the sidelines.

That's 3 different teams announced already - the Swans are a rabble!

Dees in real trouble with those outs especially with Bruce going in with a cloud. They've got some depth tho. Still have an inkling that "Flash" Davey might crop up on game day.

i doubt davey will play, but i reckon johnstone, robertson and and bruce might be used as mind games against paul roos? anyone know what these 3 players actual injuries are?

Yes Robbo has an arm/shoulder injury and is still carrying a knee, Travis has hammy tightness and Bruce as a corked thigh which ND said had to be managed for the next few weeks. Davey WON'T play. Funny how the Swans gave Channel Ten Melbourne a team with one change but several Melbourne radio stations the one I named second with the 2. I believe the latter to be correct.

                          nick named as emergency. interesting...
whelan+robertson+johnstone big losses for them. their main playmakers right there- whelan the defensive creator, johnstone their best attacking midfielder, and robbo the forward freak. how lucky are we.

Interesting that Schmidt is dropped (but stays on the Emergency list) whilst Richards maintains his place. Good to see Nicky D make it to the Emergency list, whilst it isn't back into the 22 it does seem a bit of a pat on the back from the selection panel.

What is needed to get Bevan out of the team, a bloody crow bar.

I suppose the reason given would be "match ups". Fair dinkum he wouldn't match up on my 86 year old mother and she would outpace him.
