i cannot vote on that one- because theyre not likely at all to make the finals!!! two games behind 8th with 4 rounds to go- it aint gonna happen, even if 8th is freo.

He didn't ask "Will they". he asked "are they more likely".

Yes, they have more chance with Mooney. He has become one of there most impotant players. But then I reckon they have buckleys of making the finals. They have Saints, Swans and Dees over the next 3 weeks. They'd have to win all those plus the other one, and hope Freo, drop at least two games.

They could possibly end up above any of Sydney, St Kilda, Collingwood, Western Bulldogs, Fremantle or even Melbourne. The fact that they play teams above them ("eight point games" *) puts their destiny in their own hands*. There's plenty of opportunity for late season poor form from any one of the teams in the eight, including the Swans.

If Geelong keep winning, they have a very good chance of making it.

It's more like "If Mooney keeps out of trouble for the remainder of the season, are they more likely to make the finals?"
I only support one team: The SYDNEY SWANS!!!!! :adore

I voted "more likely" with the proviso he plays the majority of the time at HF. Thomson needs to be strong and not put him down back if things start going bad during a game.

Heres a thought for you. If we fall to the Dees and the Cats beat the Saints then next week Geelong have the chance to draw level with us.

Will Mooney play next week? Head butts can lead to suspensions.

It was more a head rub than a headbutt. Will be interesting to see how the MRP see it. I reckon he will be OK.

That's what I thought, but given his recent record, you really have to wonder if he has anything between the ears.
