37 hitouts. Sensational effort by the Doc, and it must be especially pleasing doing it against White.

totally agree. everyone talks about white, cox, simmonds and lade (lade is justified though) about being the best ruckmen in the afl but no-one talks about good old joz. he leads hitouts and totally outclassed a so-called top ruckman today. keep up the good work doc!Comment

Jolly vs. that lot
I think Darren is vastly improved this year and is proving to be an excellent trade for that 1st round draft pick- and he is still pretty young. I am willing to concede (how big of me) work around the ground to him as I think he is probably directed to drop behind play a bit to conserve energy for the massive workload he has. Doyle in is going to help him greatly, if Stephen can stay healthy I expect him to start to steal a few more minutes off Darren (which might hurt Darren's HO stats but increase his ability for around the ground work).
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his timeComment

I thought he did extremely well in the hotouts today, though at the game it hard to tell how many he actually won. 37, on top of 44 last week, is an excelent return. The big improvement was his marking at critical times. He took 2 or 3 marks in defence that he'd would've dropped a few weeks ago.
I was very impressed.
OT. I also enjoyed Donks return, some good marks, or attempted marks and his run (jog) up the wing was great to see.Comment
