    Fosdike on song again,flying under the radar you little rippa.

    Possesions=13
    Out of D50=1
    Into F50=1
    Marks=5
    Clearances=3
    Clangers=0
    Frees 4=3,Against=0
    Tackles=3
    Goals=1
    Tog=59 mins only.
    For time on ground he has to be in one of our best every week IMO.
    Now this is a thread that i would expect on the ego -centric, wank session that is redandwhiteonline.com...

    Those stats underwelm me. 13 possys for half a game is only 26 for a full game. Isnt that average for a midfielder ?

    I think he's still a fringe player, but probably sneaks in, in the 18-22 range of best players ranked at sydney.

      26 possessions is quite decent for a midfielder. None of our players have averaged that many in a season for years.

      However, 13 in 59 min, is really about 20 for a game. Which is okay, but not great. We have no real ball magnets, which is good in some ways (harder to shut us down), but bad when we really need someone to stand up and get a lot of the ball regularly.

      Nevertheless, I think he is very important, when playing well, to give us some 'outside' drive. Otherwise our team is too dominated by 'inside' players.

        I thought he played ok, his snap for goal was a ripper.

          Yeah that was a great goal.

          He is very consistent and plays an important role in our midfield rotation.

            When we opened up the break in the 3rd Q he was one of those who ran to space to open up yhe game. Did it the previous week also.

            Might do it for short spurts in the game but genuinely has an affect each time. His disposal has improved immeasurably in the past 2 seasons. Used to be neck and neck with Mathews for OOB on the full expert.

              Is the 59 minutes actual elapsed time, or time-clock time ?

                          He left the ground with concussion at about the 10 minute mark of the last quarter and didn't return. That skews the numbers a bit.

                            I would be extremely suprised if there were more than 10 midfielders in the league who average over 26 possies a game

                            easily within our best 22 and as the swantastic stated highly underrated
