    McVeigh

I thought Mcveigh had a terrific game yesterday.

He seems to start games off really well then go missing, but he seemed to be have a more consistent game yesterday.

Probably one of his best games yet.

Yep. I thought it was one of his best. This year he has become a pretty effective small forward in patches. However yesterday he was handy most of the game, plus did some useful things further up the ground (except for his stupid HTB).

10 poss 1st half 7 in second.Chipped in with 2 goals,i thought he did pretty well. The good thing is we have contributors all around the ground not just 2 or 3 super stars.
Now this is a thread that i would expect on the ego -centric, wank session that is redandwhiteonline.com...

I've been more and more impressed with him each week. Yesterday I thought he was one of our best players.

I think we really have to wait until a player is in his early to mid 20's before we pass judgement on them. For Ruckmen and talls, I'd wait until mid-late 20's.

eg. Chambers is still a chance.

Same goes for me - I was calling for his head early in the season but am more than happy to have been proved wrong. Is very handy in his versatility - he's played at times in the midfield, but can also play as a small forward and has got excellent goal sense - he seems to pop up with a goal almost every game.

              I'm on the Chandwagon!!!

19.5 is an excellent return for a half-forward. (Not to mention accurate!)

eski vs mcveigh - mcveigh now a starting midfielder
LRT vs mcveigh - LRT already a full senior squad member in 2005.

did LRT win it last year ??

No other contenders. McV would have it in the bag.
