Calling on my vast reserves of football knowlegde, I'd say the truth is thus:

Crouch has some injury, which would normally require an operation and then be out for the season. The medical staff thought there might be a possibility if he gave it a few weeks rest, he could play through it and get the operation done at the end of the season. Last weeks reserves match was a test to see if he could play with the injury. He cant. Off to the hospital now. End of season for Crouch.

I still don't understand why Crouch hasn't been on the injury list. Do we need to start another conspiracy theory for the club to come clean with the right information?

I rang the club to find out what was up with JC they told me he was fine,i said thats not good enough im a paid up member and we are what keeps the club going and we deserve an explination, they said it is a private matter and if they reveal it ,the injury will become a target for opposition players.I said to them that his season was over and he couldnt even finish off a magoos game there for he cant play seniors,They then said he came off as a precausion. Then i said to them what a load of @@@@ he's gawn for the season we want answers. In the end they said just wait and see,i finished off with, we have been and nothings been told to the MEMBERS.Just another friggin brush off and treating members with distain.

hey man, like, i agree, you know, because, i mean, when i ring each week wanting to know the game plan and match ups and stuff, they blow me off too. i might have some clever brainwaves and they don't even want to let me spout my wisdom. oh yeah, and they give me goofy excuses like they don't want the opposition to know their secrets. well, bust my head open and call me charlie, but whoa, i am a fan right so shouldn't i know in advance because it'll help me follow the game, see, if i know what's gonna happen. damn them man, they just give no love to we bros. may all their seeds turn sour.

Hard to feel sorry for a guy who seems to treat the supporters with at least a small degree of contempt.

And as for your reference to JC, well, at church on Sunday we all pay homage to him to and count our blessings and thank our saviour for giving us such earthly delights
