Anyone have an idea about this "plan"?

look at the forth post and the sixth and nineth (sp?). Any one have an inkling what this secret plan to tackle the Swans would be?

Not sure about the 'plan', but surely it involves finding one or two key forwards and then learning how to use them.

I must say they are a cocky bunch given that the the last 3 games between us have been decided by less than a kick
We demand rigidly defined areas of doubt and uncertainty.

The evidence offered is that they play differently against us to other sides. Gee. That's called coaching.

Every team, especially come finals time, will try to throw something in to do things a little bit differently, in the hope it will throw the opposition off. But they don't want to do it at the expense of their own carefully-cultivated (and minutely trained) game plan, so it only ever involves a relatively minor tweak.

The Weagles big secret plan: drop Lynch and play Gardiner at FF. You heard it here first.

This guy's going to cop it from the other Eagles fans (last post in that thread):

I've got a bit of a confession to make, i enjoy watching Sydney play...They play excellent and tough football suited to the pressure situation of September. And every game we've played against them has been eminetly memorable and damn exciting!
        Very brave, though!

          Try living over here.
They really do have their heads so far up their own bum it is unbelievable.
It is like it is their divine right that they win the GF this year.

all I can say is if it came down to it....I would put money on Roosy to outwit Worsfold anyday.

I actually think Lynch has played quite well as 2nd ruck with Dean Cox out.

For all the skill of the Eagles midfield, they have no idea how to kick to a leading forward, and I think much of the critisism of Lynch is not entirely justified.

We'll have to agree to disagree. As a forward I'd be delighted to be served by Judd, Kerr, Cousins, Fletcher etc. I'll grant you that Lynch works hard up the ground, and has improved his game substantially this year. But he's just not terribly good. In terms of talent, in an ideal side someone like him is your #2 forward target at best.

Granted that Lynch is not God's (or appropriate religious deity) gift to full forwards, but I think I already suggested that with my earlier post regarding the 'plan'.

Truth is that the West Coast midfield are the ones scoring the goals! Either that or its Wirrapanda making runs from defence or Hunter and Embley as the only ones who are able to take a mark when the ball is sat on their head. Very rarely do they score form supply to a leading forward.

I do think that Lynch would be a more than serviceable player at almost any other club. He certainly has more to offer than Tarrant or Rocca, for example, at the moment.

No, but I got a good laugh at the mutual admiration society over there.

Looks like they have it in the bag already.

Almost taken the mantle from Saints for me, not quite yet though. Last year at the prelim sat adjacent to a group of Saints supporters who sang their song during the third quarter funny to give them the "send-off" as they left about ten minutes into the fourth

They are real fans, they would never bag the coach. I wonder if they'll love Woosha so much in five years time if he doesn't manage to bring home a flag.
