    Sydney v West Coast???

few of my west coast mates over here were getting a bit ahead of themselves and already making room for the flag at subiaco oval however the swans have snuck up into 3rd place and look likely to meet the eagles at some stage in the finals and these same mates are getting a bit worried i say bring on west coast we have it over them whether it be in sydney or in perth

How can you discount the possibility of another bad day at the office from the umpires?

You can't if it's at Subi.

Reminds me of the grand final week where this random guys from my msn list had the name "YAY EAGLES WON THE PREMIERSHIP!!! ". Was so tempted to rub it in his face after the game.

The Wet Toasters over here are quietly comfortable of beating us at Subi,(cause they have there little Ump buddies to help-em) because they have done it the last few years. But get them over East at the SCG or the MCG and they `re shakin at the knees. As I always say to my WC buddies, ( " the GF ain`t played at Subi".)

yep the cockiness is amazing over here at the moment - it's like all the other clubs don't exist and the cup is theirs

i really hope they don't make the GF and all their plane tickets they have bought are worth nothing to them (might have to sell them to me )

and the "GF is not played at subi" comment is spot on

Expect it; revel in it;Look forward to McLaren and Goldspink. Marvell at how biased they can be . Relish the challenge. Watch the Swans overcome the "20 men in the opposing team" factor. These puny wannabees will not put the Swans down. Champions will triumph over injustice

I can understand why some Umpires favour Melbourne teams over the Swans but what I cant work out is why they are so biased in favour of the Little Princes of Subiaco
A fellow critic of AFL Umpires cynicaly suggests that it has something to do with things like "Perth is a long way from home" and "While youre here we'll show you a good time"
But i scorn such scurrilous suggestions even if I dont understand what they mean

I feel all warm inside whenever I say "Even Judd, Cousins and Kerr cant bring Subiaco to Melbourne"

And one of em was the Grand Final!

Does anyone have the stats on how many win / losses the WC have on Sydney over East? ( SCG / TS & MCG ) in recent years? I know in Perth they are in front!
