    Brownlow Question

I realise that if you are suspended you can not win the gong. Does this also mean umpires can not/will not vote for a player who has already been suspended, for the rest of the year?

You can still receive votes after you have been suspended. Whether an umpire is biased by a suspension is a different question.

Shouldn't happen. Umpires are supposed to be unbiased (hahaha).

I think if you look back over the years you will see players getting votes after they have been suspended (Eg. Chris Grant/ Corey Mckernan)

In 1997, Chris Grant scored votes in the last three weeks of the season, despite being suspended earlier:

Mckernan should be handed that Brownlow. He earn't it and to not get it for what is now only a free kick is a blight on the game.

I heard somewhere recently that he lost the Rising Star award thru suspension as well. You think he'd learn.

Yes yes, that would have made for a much better plan.
