Rd 20 team (merged with Davis in for Fosdike)

There has been little mentioned of Fossy's condition since Saturday.

That knock looked terrible aside from the brain rattle, he looked like he pinched a few nerves around his neck and shoulder regions (base that on nothing).

If I had to guess, I would suggest that Fossy would be having a week off and Davis would be the ideal replacement.

Anyone got any word on who Nick D might come in for?

By the time he came up to the After Match Function he was looking a lot better - could see he'd taken a knock but didn't look out of it by any means. I'd say you'll see him line up on Saturday.

If Davis is to come in, my guess as the two most likely to miss out would be Dempster or Grundy, depending on the type of role they want Davis to play. If they want him to play primarily as a forward, Grundy would be the obvious choice, whereas if they want to use him a bit further up the ground, you might see Schneider spend some time deeper as Dempster has been with Davis playing the role Schneider did on the weekend.

    I'm on the Chandwagon!!!

If you cannot compete for the premiership, it's better to be young and exciting than middle-aged and dowdy.

Malceski hasn't had the greatest 2 weeks. I don't think he has earned the right to be an automatic selection so perhaps he could make way? (I hope not, because I love his long raking left foot kicks)

Malceski's form over the course of the season has been fantastic, only being a young kid his giving us enough each week to earn a place.

Fossie seems the one to make way for Davis, I can't see Grunts making way only because his form since making his debut against the tigs has been good but in saying that I would rather Davis than Grunts.

Article in real footy - at end says Davis in mix but no certainty to play - Roos playing games with Davis again?

I'd leave Foz in and dump Richards for Davis and do a wee re-jig of the line-up. Richards is pure rubbish, Foz is doing well and will have shaken off that knock no bother. I believe he has trained well this week.

If he is brought in, what are the odds that he is named on a 7 man bench (which we haven't used in a while) just to mess with his head a little more?
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline

I was down for three games of footy last weekend and was sitting on the 4th level of the GSS. He was knocked out right in front of us and it was a sickening thud even from that height.

I think that's unfair on Richards. He would have been in our top 6 last week and seems to be able to fill spare parts roles OK (ie second choice ruckman, loose man in defence etc.). I think that is the attraction of Ted for Roos. He may be jack of all trades and master of none, but he is able enough to fill a gap. Dempster for example just isn't as flexible in the choice of roles he can offer and I think he will go before Ted does.
