    Where to sit at Manuka?

Given that there will not be many others there on Sat, where should I sit? Over in the sun, high in the Bradman, behind the goals? Whad'ya reckon?

A different quarter of the ground each quarter.

After our experience earlier this year at the Kangas game, when we sat in the stand just along from the Bradman, I would sit somewhere in the sun but not where you're looking into it. So perhaps a bit to the right of the Bradman.
I've never been so cold in my life as I was at that game.
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

But with ROK being a Canberran, he is used to the weather. He'll probably be there in shorts and a t-shirt.

In the comfort of your loungeroom watching the seniors kick the Cats all the way to Antarctica.

It will be cutting, no doubt. Hopefully insightful too.

Behind the city end goals and drape a red and white crocheted rug over the fence. Every time there is a goal lean over the fence and give the goal signal. Soon you'll be famous.

There is no "city" end. This is Canberra.

That's an interesting concept...a city without a soul.

Sit in the sun then and move around watching your favourite player.

There is more soul than city. Canberra is spread. There are shopping bits, eating bits, working bits, living bits. I think the atmosphere here is great, people are friendly and it is a very civic minded place. It is just that there is no crowded, shaded centre.
