It was certainly no worse than Hall's tummy tap on Maguire so if not for the fact that he's a serial idiot you would have expected him to get off with a week at most.

Sadly for Geelong, he just can't help himself.

Don't worry. He'll get three weeks and the honour of being the first AFL player suspended four times in one year.

He should have a good, long and hard look at himself. He can start by doing somthing about that girly headband he wears. Nothing @@@@es me more. Maybe we should conduct a hair accessory donation drive and send what we collect onto him.

        How funny would that be!!!
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.

At least Rhino saw the error of his ways and got himself a hair cut that didn't need a headband.

Spot on. He's extremely passionate about his game, and such a big lad that violence comes easy to him. He is also an extremely gifted player, and the most capable of sparking a game-winning surge for the team... as he did against us on the weekend.

He reminds me a lot of Barry Hall in his Saints days. A good coach and a supportive and critical club would turn him into a super player. Unfortunately, its unlikely he'll ever get that, and the Geelong goldfishbowl isn't going to ever make him a reliable player.

No ... just get rid of the head band.
There really isn't a place for metrosexuality on the football field.
Jesus never wore a headband (well, he sorta did, but it wasn't like Mooneys).

Jesus also never belted people on the football oval either. Turning over the traders tables in the temple court is not the same thing as belting someone.

Actually we don't know what Jesus wore, apart from what was the tradition of the time. Jesus probably had long hair, and he would have covered his head when he visited the temple.

I'm pretty sure, at the time, JC didn't wear one of those plastic zig-zag head bands that make your hair look noice and pretty on the field.

If Mooney's gotta problem holding his hair back, he should cut himself a fringe. My mum's a hairdresser. She works from the "salon/laundry" at home. He should come around for a haircut. I might send him an invitation for next time he's up in Sydney.

Speaking of invites .... (not that I think he would be invited .... but ...) Do you reckon Mooney would turn up to the brownlow presentation wearing his headband? Fierce competition for the Wives and Girlfriends. The WAGs have enough pressure on them without having to compete with the actual footballers themselves.

Plus a full body hair wax as well. After all he would be playing in Sydney
