    The last 5 weeks.....

Televised free to air into Melbourne

    Sydney Vs.......

    Port AAMI - NO
    Essendon SCG - NO
    Melbourne MCG - YES
    Ceelong Skilled - NO
    Brisband TS - NO

So only one game televised on free to air into Melbourne, and that was a game which everyone could have gone to the ground to see.
The other 4 games weren't televised into Melbourne, yet to see them you would have to fly interstate or travel 2 hours to Geelong, or pay $70 per month for Foxtel.

Damn I can't wait until next year.
Maybe the AFL have finally got it right.
Football needs to be more accessible to everyone, rather than less accessible.

And screw cable TV and their high prices.
Go live in the STates and tell them how much we pay for our pay TV and watch them laugh at you.
To be honest, all I would ever want from Foxtel is the documentary channel.
The difference between insanity and genius is measured only in success.

Are you a fan of Hitler?
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

Almost as bad as going to Geelong.

That was a pain, but you can listen in through AFL.com.

AFL.com used to issue a broadcast guide every Tuesday, but I can't find one.

According to an article in the Telegraph, Fox Footy will be no longer anyway.

Ah crap! Fox Footy is my fallback when there is nothing on tele. This sucks! (Although it's not a complete surprise.)

were my words as well, when i saw the article in the paper today. I love fox footy, its a great time waster, and i always enjoy watching the "last time they met" replay games. Always gives you a nice indication of where we were at etc. last time round.

Oh well. Channel 7 better get their @@@@ together if they want to fill the void.

I thought pay tv prices were fair, plenty of shows, baby sitter and access to all swans games live all rolled into one doesnt get much better than that.
Now this is a thread that i would expect on the ego -centric, wank session that is redandwhiteonline.com...

A deal between the AFL & fox sports is trying to be struck for another fox sports channel which would be fox sports 3 to televise matches in 2007 & beyond.

I used to be close to waverley Park.

well, I still am, except there's no footy there anymore

Over here in Wet Toast land, The last game we got on free to air was with Richmond on 22nd July. This weekend as usual no free to air. We`re just lucky we get it live on FoxFooty at the pub(which I must admit is a great excuse to get away from the family for a few coldies).

BTW. Sydney/Bris at the Greenwood 5pm sat for the lads over here.
                              Even Santa follows the Swannies.
