And is a premiership player (1999).

    I'm on the Chandwagon!!!

If you cannot compete for the premiership, it's better to be young and exciting than middle-aged and dowdy.

He's like Ottens and rest of the Geelong side - underachiever.

He has all those attributes - but can you really see him making the most of them on a regular basis?

          NO!
Tarrant is a hard running hack. maybe a third rounder.
No way is Mooney worth a first round pick unless he comes with it attatched e.g J. Moore for Mooney+ first round.

(Not that I'm suggesting we get rid of Moore)

I feel like I've fallen into some sort of weird parallel dimension.

Davo is exactly the same player only less gifted in the height department! It's not as though we are stuggling to wheel in some tall forwards if required!

The difference is that Davo is a different type of player, that adds an extra dimension (note: not bizzaro parallel thing...) to our forward or midfield or defensive structure. Not just more of the same.

In another (and much younger life) I would have Nick's number on my jumper, and I cannot wait to see him in action this weekend!
We demand rigidly defined areas of doubt and uncertainty.

LOL - now that is really quite a laughable suggestion.

In theory Mooney might be a matchwinner but rarely delivers. He is a spasmodic type who plays some good matches and some good quarters. Has also had the odd injury. Was very inconsistent at North.

Also with his anger management issues how would he pass muster with the leadership group?

I was having a catch up footy chat with my friend Cam from mexico. We were remembering the good old days at the tribunal ... the human headband would've got 3 months (not two bloody weeks) ... just for having four suspensions in one season.

The human headband is a little bully. He's as soft as. He does just enough damage to get himself noticed, yet the indescretion is not serious enough to warrant a longer sentence. If I was gunna go for a fourth suspension in one season, I would have got an elbow in or something just as bad ... make it worthwhile!!

Seriously friends, we don't need the headache crap baggage he'd bring with him from the cattery. I'd rather have Spida's headache crap baggage ... at least we'd get some help in the rucks.
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones who let in the light.

I meant it was laughable to suggest that anyone would actually seriously think of a trade such as your example.
